Short answer
In our reading the only £1 deposit casino UK players can join is Lottoland: its deposit table lists Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Trustly, MuchBetter and Pay by Bank at £1.00 each. Paysafecard starts at £2 there. Two other names often sold as £1 sites did not confirm it on their own pages.

A £1 deposit casino UK players can actually use is rarer than search results suggest. Plenty of articles use the phrase as a headline, and when you open the cashier of the casino they name, the figure is often £5, £10 or missing altogether. On 22 October 2026 we went back to the brands' own pages and looked for the number in writing. One casino passed on every main method: Lottoland.

This page covers that one £1 deposit casino, the near misses, and what to do when £1 is not the right amount. The full ranking of every minimum, from £1 to £10, is on the home page.
What counts as a £1 deposit casino here
For this page a £1 deposit casino must meet three conditions. It holds a UK Gambling Commission licence, its own page states a minimum of £1, and that minimum applies to ordinary online methods such as a debit card or a wallet. A figure that exists only for a shop counter does not count. William Hill, for instance, lets customers top up through WH Plus in a shop with £1, yet its online methods start at £5, so it sits on the £5 deposit page.

Sky Vegas is a different edge case. Its terms say the minimum for all methods is £5, while its support page says Pay by Bank has no minimum amount. One page contradicts the other, and a casino that contradicts itself is not a safe basis for a £1 plan. The no minimum deposit page follows that discrepancy further.
Lottoland: the £1 deposit casino in our reading
Lottoland is run by EU Lotto Ltd under UKGC licence 38991, a number printed in the terms, section 1.5. It is a lottery-betting brand with a casino section, which is worth knowing before you pay in: the casino lobby is a part of a wider product, not the whole site.
The deposit FAQ lists each method with its own minimum:
| Method | Minimum deposit |
|---|---|
| Visa | £1.00 |
| Mastercard | £1.00 |
| Apple Pay | £1.00 |
| Trustly | £1.00 |
| MuchBetter | £1.00 |
| Pay by Bank | £1.00 |
| Paysafecard | £2.00 |
Deposits are described as instant. Withdrawals go back by debit card or bank, in line with the method used to pay in, and the pages we read do not print a minimum withdrawal figure. That gap matters for a small balance and is covered on the withdrawal limits page.

The picture above shows the pattern to check at any casino: the cashier minimum and the amount that unlocks a welcome offer are two separate numbers. The Lottoland pages we read give no welcome offer terms, so there is no bonus minimum to quote here. If an offer is shown when you register, its own terms will state the qualifying deposit, and it may well be higher than £1.
Claims about £1 casinos that did not hold up
Two names turn up on other lists with a £1 label. We checked both against the brands' own pages.
Zodiac Casino. The site reached for a UK reader says it is only accessible to players living in Alberta or Ontario, Canada. A £1 minimum there is not an option for a UK account.
London.bet. The terms and help pages carry no minimum deposit at all. A casino that does not publish the number cannot be listed as a £1 casino, whatever a third-party table says.
The lesson from both: if the minimum is not printed on the casino's own page, a figure quoted on a third-party list is a lead to check, not a fact.
What £1 buys in practice
A pound is 100 pence. A 10p stake gives ten spins and a 20p stake gives five, if the game allows a stake that low, and each game states its own limits on screen. At a £1 deposit casino the balance is enough to open the lobby, look at what the casino offers and play a handful of rounds. It is not enough to meet most bonus qualifying deposits, and it will not stretch across long sessions.

Before you pay in, the four steps in the picture take two minutes: open the cashier, read the minimum for your method, check the bonus rule, then choose the amount. At Lottoland the method decides the answer, because Paysafecard is the one line that asks for £2.
If £1 is not enough, or not available
Some readers cannot use the six methods that make Lottoland a £1 deposit casino, or want a brand that is more casino and less lottery. The next step up is £2, and it is not a real tier: no brand uses £2 as its general floor, and the only £2 line we found is that Paysafecard row. The real next tier is £5.
At £5 the cleanest case is Kitty Bingo, where all six methods start at £5, PayPal included, and the withdrawal floor is £5 as well. Sky Vegas takes £5 on every method per its terms. Both are covered on the £5 deposit page. If your wallet is PayPal, the payment methods guide shows which brands charge more for it.
The three brands compare like this on the pages we read:
| Casino | Lowest figure on its pages | Methods at that figure | Withdrawal floor |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lottoland | £1 | six of seven | not printed on the pages we read |
| Sky Vegas | £5 (terms), none for Pay by Bank (support) | all methods in the terms | £10, or £5 by Pay by Bank |
| Kitty Bingo | £5 | all six | £5 |

How we ordered this page
The three cards put Lottoland first because it is the only £1 line. Sky Vegas follows because its support page mentions no minimum for Pay by Bank, even though its terms say £5. Kitty Bingo closes the group as the cheapest brand where every method shares one low floor. The rating method explains how we weigh minimums, methods and withdrawal floors when brands are close.
A short checklist before a £1 deposit
- Pick the method first, then read its minimum, as at any £1 deposit casino. £1 at Lottoland applies to six of the seven listed methods.
- Do not use a credit card. It is not accepted.
- Look for a withdrawal floor before you pay in, because a figure you cannot withdraw is not much use.
- Set a deposit limit in the account settings. Every UKGC-licensed casino offers one, and it works at £1 the same as at £100.
Open the casino and read the minimum deposit in the cashier before you pay.
Where to go next
- The £5 deposit casinos page compares seven brands by how many methods keep the £5 floor.
- The low deposit bonuses page shows the qualifying amount of the offers we read.
- The withdrawal limits page covers the cash-out side.
- The home page sorts all fourteen casinos into £1, £5 and £10 trays.

Eleanor writes about the cashier side of a casino: minimum deposits, minimum withdrawals, ID checks and the fees printed in the terms. Every page of hers starts from the smallest amount a casino lets you move, not from the welcome offer.

Is there a £1 deposit casino in the UK?
One brand in our reading: Lottoland, which lists £1.00 for Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Trustly, MuchBetter and Pay by Bank in its own deposit FAQ. It holds UKGC licence 38991 through EU Lotto Ltd. Every other brand we read asks for £5 or more, or does not name a figure.
Why does Paysafecard cost £2 at Lottoland?
The deposit table prints 2.00 GBP for Paysafecard and 1.00 GBP for the other six methods. The page does not explain the difference, so we report the figure and leave it there. If you hold a voucher, plan for £2, not £1.
Zodiac Casino and London.bet are listed as £1 casinos elsewhere. Are they?
Not on the pages we read. The Zodiac site we reached says it is only accessible to players living in Alberta or Ontario in Canada. London.bet shows no minimum deposit in its terms or help pages, so a £1 figure could not be confirmed.
Does Sky Vegas take £1?
Its terms, section 9.7, set £5 for every payment method. A support article says that for Pay by Bank there is no minimum amount. The two statements disagree, so we treat £5 as the figure you can plan around.
Can I use a credit card for a £1 deposit?
No. Lottoland's terms say credit cards are not accepted, and UK casinos in general cannot take them for gambling. Use a debit card, Apple Pay, Trustly, MuchBetter or Pay by Bank.
